Hitting The Pause Button
Substack’s Not Working For Me (Here's Whats Next)
I want to let you know that I’m hitting the “pause” button on this Substack.
That means no more charges for paid subscribers.
Substack creates a conflict for me. Much of what I write here, especially the posts on Feldenkrais and organizational dynamics, belongs on my main website, where it can get indexed by the search engines and reach more people. On Substack, my posts get put behind a paywall after a month, and I don’t like that.
Also, it drives me crazy to create something and then have to decide where to put it: my main email list of about 2,500 people? My website? Here on Substack? Moving everything to my main site simplifies decision-making and saves willpower. It’ll make it easier for me to share ideas, and easier for you (and others) to read them.
In a few weeks, when I disconnect payments from Substack, the site will automatically issue partial refunds to current monthly and yearly subscribers.
If you don’t know about my Feldenkrais work and want to get notified of future posts and products, grab my free 5-Day Feldenkrais Challenge. Five short audio sessions, one per day, done while sitting in a chair. Easy, gentle movements to help you move better and get out of pain and strain.
Big thanks to those of you who have been here! I have enjoyed the conversations. And remember, I am not going away, but going back to my home territory, where I am more grounded and the ideas can flow more easily.
Peace!

Glad you are doing what supports you the most. I found your website years ago and was able to send people to it with ease so they could try your free sessions. Many have thanked me and have been following you as well. I know I will follow you wherever you land. Let the ideas flow.
